GLOBAL PASSPORT
KDDI au's international roaming service. Starting in April 2000, GLOBAL PASSPORT has been deployed in 15 countries and regions, including China, South Korea, the U.S., Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Thailand, Taiwan, and Indonesia. The service areas account for 75% of the overseas destinations of the Japanese traveling abroad, according to the Ministry of Justice.
